Celebrating the individuality hidden within everyday faces.
FACES is a series of 100 portraits exploring shape design and individuality. I created this project to study the features that make people memorable and to challenge myself to find new ways of interpreting the human face. Using bold lines, simplified forms, and exaggerated shapes, I reduce each portrait to its essentials while preserving its personality.
Through this series, I hope viewers see a reflection of themselves and gain a greater appreciation for the features that make them unique. In a world increasingly shaped by filters, algorithms, and artificial intelligence that often smooth away imperfections, FACES serves as a reminder of the individuality, character, and humanity found within our differences. What some may view as flaws, I see as the details that make us memorable.

Artist
I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I loved creating my own characters, imagining their stories, and making them as quirky and expressive as I wanted. FACES is, in many ways, a love letter to those early drawings and the endless possibilities I found in a pencil and a blank page.
As an artist, I want my work to encourage people to see themselves and appreciate the features that make them unique. I believe art is at its most exciting when it offers a fresh perspective—when it transforms something familiar into something new. We can all look at the same subject and see it differently, and that ability to reinterpret the world is what continues to inspire my work.
